Are you and your team up for it?

First Mini Monster Challenges are a series of events across Britain aimed at getting families and groups of friends together to enjoy a sporting day out and help raise money for charity.

First Mini Monsters are based on the original First Monster Challenge event, but allow people of all ages to take part regardless of fitness or experience.

Two races take place on the day, both for teams of four. The first, aimed at families, sees each competitor tackle a 1.5km run or a 5km cycle. The adult event involves each competitor either running 3km or cycling 10km.

There are five First Mini Monster events in 2009, so pick the one nearest to you, dust off those trainers and join in the fun!
